What MACS Nihongo is

MACS Nihongo is a free web app for learning Japanese vocabulary. Photograph a page of your textbook or a printed word list, and AI reads the Japanese words, their kana readings and their meanings, then builds a typing quiz just for you. You answer in romaji, so it works on any keyboard, and every word is read aloud with natural Japanese pronunciation.

Words you get wrong keep coming back until you answer them correctly twice in a row, so a five-minute session actually sticks. Nothing to install, no account to create, and your word lists stay on your own device.
